I used to think confidence meant having everything under control. I built a successful career while juggling the constant demands of work and home. I was always putting others first, even at the expense of my own well-being. But what I thought was confidence at the time was really just keeping up appearances. Eventually, it all caught up with me.
The relentless juggling act took its toll. Burnout set in and led to chronic illness. I then came to the harsh realisation that I had been neglecting my own needs for far too long. I reached a point where I felt lost and disconnected from the person I truly was.
That’s when I knew something had to change.
With advice from my neurologist, I began learning how to set healthy boundaries, not just with others, but with myself, too.
I had to let go of the need to do it all.
I discovered that saying no, taking time for self-care, and listening to my inner voice were the keys to regaining control.
I made efforts to turn to the things I used to enjoy before I started feeling overwhelmed with life, like reading and journaling. Step by step, I rebuilt my confidence. Not the kind of confidence based on external achievements, but a deep, inner confidence that feels real and lasting. I learned to honour my own needs, embrace life’s changes, and create a balance that truly nurtures me.

My personal journey changed me in ways I never expected and it sparked a genuine passion to support other women who feel overwhelmed and lost.
I now lean on the skills I picked up as a lawyer, such as advocating for what you want, negotiating life on your own terms, and never settling for less than you deserve.
My goal is to help you build your confidence, create a balance that actually works for you, and ease the pressure to do it all. (because you do not need to do it ALL).
